Our house is similar to so many others where the song Let It Go seems to be on a constant repeat day after day. It plays so often that even when home alone I find the words swirling in my head. Okay let’s be honest the lyrics are pouring out at window shattering levels as I dance around the house. Don’t judge. If you have not heard the song, it has it’s merits just maybe not 50 times a day.
Though hearing it so often resonated with me on just how I feel. I started blogging last week, but unsure of myself and where I thought it would go, I basically created, wrote, and published without making it known. It worked I got to take pictures of food and write my thoughts regardless of who the audience was. I started to get the hang of it (the blog thing), and realized I might enjoy spreading my love of food, food related issues, and opinions in a multitude of areas. I am ready to “let it go”
Let it go, let it go
Can’t hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I don’t care
what they’re going to say
Let the storm rage on.
The cold never bothered me anyway
It’s funny how some distance
Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can’t get to me at all
It’s time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me,
Here it is! Let’s Have Mixture.
The mixture has spilled, and we will see where it goes. If a couple perfect strangers can find my post interesting then maybe friends and family will be entertained as well. If you enjoy it, I will keep writing. If not well I might just keep writing anyway because this is my blog and I can do what I want.
Let me know your thoughts. You can “like” me, “tweet” to me, follow my pins, or just follow my website http://letshavemixture.com and I will randomly surprise you with a new email on occasion. Thanks in advance for your support and be sure to check out my original post to get a better understanding of “Let’s Have Mixture” who the lady in the kitchen is, and what I might be dreaming up next. Most likely something sweet and too high in calories, but oh so enjoyable.
